Program Description:

The Oregon Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is a Federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. LIEAP is an assistance program designed to help low income households with home heating costs.

 

General Program Requirements:

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Oregon, you must need financial assistance for home energy costs and your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $20,228 if one person lives in the household; $26,451 if two people live in the household; $32,675 if three people live in the household; $38,899 if four people live in the household; $45,123 if five people live in the household; $51,347 if six people live in the household; $52,514 if seven people live in the household; and $53,681 if eight people live in the household. For larger households, add $1,167 for each additional person in the home.
