> VA - Life Insurance - Supplemental Service Disabled Veterans Insurance (Supplemental S-DVI)
Program Description:
The Veterans' Benefits Act of 1992, provided for $20,000 of supplemental life insurance coverage to S-DVI policyholders. Premiums may not be waived on this supplemental coverage.
General Program Requirements:
In order to qualify for this benefit program you must have Service-Disabled Veterans Insurance (S-DVI) policyholder and be:
- Eligible for a disability waiver of S-DVI premiums
- Under age 65
Additionally, you must apply for the coverage within one year from the date of your notice of the grant of waiver.
