Program Description:
The Servicemembers?? Group Life Insurance (SGLI) Disability Extension is for service members who are totally disabled at the time of discharge. The benefit allows the member to retain their SGLI coverage. There is no cost for the coverage for up to two years after discharge.
General Program Requirements:
To qualify, you must have SGLI at discharge and be totally disabled at discharge.
