Program Description:
The Career Development Awards provide support for research relating to the problems of drug abuse and addiction. It also aims to raise the level of competence and increase the number of individuals engaged in such research via special levels of National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) support.
General Program Requirements:
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a US national, citizen or permanent resident. You must also (a) have current or past experience as a health care professional and have completed a clinical degree or doctoral level education, or (b) be qualified/certified/licensed for laboratory or clinical research and have completed doctoral level education, or (c) have current or past experience as a health care professional and be recognized for significant contributions in the field of health care.
